My Role

  • Solo Student Project for Google ux/ui Certification

  • This UX design project was completed as part of the Google UX certification intensive UX Design course. Utilizing user research methods learned in the program, including user interviews and surveys, I designed wireframes and prototypes to address key pain points identified within the existing user flow, ultimately leading to an improved user experience.

PROBLEM

Navigating the Canine Cuisine Maze: Bridging the Information Gap in a Saturated Dog Food Market

-In a saturated market with numerous dog food brands, pet owners struggle to choose the highest quality food due to a lack of easily accessible and comprehensive information. This informational gap leads to frustration among users seeking to make informed choices for their pets.

COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

Bridging Gaps in Pet Nutrition

Upon evaluating four prominent dog food brands in the organic and nutrient-based space, a notable deficiency was identified in professional support and educational resources. This void forms the foundation for our solution — a user-friendly platform developed by board-certified veterinarians, seamlessly integrating expert guidance and enriching educational materials to enhance the pet owner's journey in selecting and providing optimal nutrition for their pets.

USER INTERVIEWS

My interviewees were three times more inclined to make a successful purchase

Through user interviews, a clear trend emerged: Interviewees were three times more inclined to make a successful purchase when they perceived reliable support from a credible source. I’ve conducted interviews with 4 dog owners who are constantly searching for an organic dog food to meat the needs of their pets. But fail to be commited to any on the market.
